Dr Phillip L. Clay
A
faculty member at MIT since 1975, Dr Clay has held academic leadership
positions at MIT for nearly two decades. He is a professor of Urban Studies and
Planning and his research has contributed to a range of public and private
initiatives influencing US housing and urban policy. Dr Clay served as
Chancellor of MIT from 2001 to 2011. He served as the Founding Director and
Vice Chair of the MasterCard Foundation Board and as Trustee of his alma
mater, the University of North California at Chapel Hill. Dr Clay joined the
AKU Board in 2012.
