Bisma Imtiaz
Senior Manager, Operations, Partnerships and Projects
Dr Bisma Imtiaz holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi, and a Master of Business Administration in Health and Hospital Management from the Institute of Business Management.
Before transitioning to BMI, Dr Imtiaz served as a Healthcare Quality Associate and an Assistant Manager at the Department of Medicine at the Aga Khan University, Karachi. She subsequently joined the Office of the Dean as an Executive Officer, where she was vital in developing and implementing operational processes to ensure the effective functioning of the medical college.
Working with a team with hubs in Kenya, Pakistan and other locations globally, Dr Imtiaz oversees BMI’s operations for the South and East Asian geography, including but not limited to Karachi, Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral. In addition, she provides administrative leadership in the design and delivery of the various organization projects, maintains, and cultivates new partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Her areas of interest include project management, quality management and patient safety, innovation and digitalization in healthcare, healthcare management, patient experience and hospital accreditation.
