Zarmeen holds a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Nadirshaw Edulji Dinshaw (NED) University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. She joined AKU-CRM in 2023 as a research associate where she has been developing her expertise in the areas of tissue engineering and 3D-bioprinting. Before this role, she was involved in research work on developing polymer-based self-healing thin films for tissue engineering applications at NED.
