Library users must show their student / staff identification badges when entering the library
Users must declare what they are carrying when entering and leaving the library
Library users should leave their baggage in the lockers
Users must produce an identity card in order to borrow books
Library material must be handled with care
Borrowed books should be kept for a maximum period of 14 days
Faculty are allowed to borrow three books per module being taught a semester
A fine of shillings 500 per day is charged for over dues
Renewal is once and only when there is no reservation
Only 2 books maybe borrowed at a time for students
Reference books are for use in the library and are not lent out
Book reservation is offered on request and lasts for 48 hours
The librarians reserve the right to recall a book even if the loan period has not expired
Loss of books should be reported immediately and a student will be required to replace the book or pay equivalent
Library materials are not to be re-shelved by the user
Silence must be observed in the library at all times
Talking on mobile phone is strictly prohibited in the library
Smoking, drinking and eating are not allowed in the library
The library reserves the right to cancel membership on the basis of misconduct
