Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi provides a variety of educational resources to our residents.  The university houses a resource center in the East Tower Block, 4th floor that contains a variety of core Anaesthesia textbooks and journals including Anaesthesiology, Anesthesia & Analgesia, Peadiatric Anesthesia among others.  They are multiple computers for educational use.

We also have a Faculty of Health Science Library that can be found on our intranet web page.  The online library provided access to many databases including PUBMED, Cochrane, EBSCO, and others.  The online library also provides access to many core books and e-journals including ClinicalKey and Up to date. 

Our Physical library is located at Sunny Plaza off Wangapala Road, 5th Parklands.  A shuttle service runs to and from Sunny Plaza every 30 minutes for those who need access to the library.  A full-time librarian is present to assist with searches and other library-related questions or materials.

Anesthesia residents also have access to the integrity E-learning platform. This provides a lot of self-study modules on all the main areas of anaesthesia, intensive care, and pain management.
