Our outstanding faculty is dedicated to offering the highest quality instruction, research and scholarship. Our faculty sits on well recognised national and international bodies such as the National Bioethics Committee and the first Global Forum on Bacterial infections. The Department also provided support towards the establishment and inauguration of the College of Pathologists of East, Central and South Africa (COPECSA) and members of our faculty have been appointed to the first COPESCA Council.
Research
