Course Overview

This course provides an understanding of the advanced knowledge base of pathophysiologic processes underlying human illness. A brief review of normal physiology and anatomy will be included. Emphasis will be on the pathophysiology of selected disorders and diseases associated with altered health states in adults. Laboratory and diagnostic data, as well as client assessment, will be integrated.
