Course Overview
This course provides a basis for understanding the use of pharmacotherapeutic agents. Content will be at a level appropriate to facilitate critical thinking for MSc students. The content is organized around body systems and the main categories of drugs that impact the specific system. Topics will include information on therapeutics, adverse effects, and indications for use and drug interactions. Students will be expected to integrate knowledge of categories of drugs as it relates by system to the development of case studies for pathophysiology.
