Theoretical Basis of Nursing 

Graduate-level course​

Mode of Learning: In-Person

This course is designed to stimulate students to examine conceptual foundations and selected nursing and health theories and link them to practice. Approaches to analysis, critique, and application of theories in nursing practice and research are emphasized. Students are encouraged to generate knowledge through utilization of selected theories and model appropriately, within their cultural context. They also learn to integrate the theoretical framework in the scholarship of research.

Eligibility:

Sixteen years of education – an undergraduate degree from an accredited /recognized university

Complete the Visiting Student Application Form and submit the same to the Office of the Registrar  at the AKU School of Nursing and Midwifery  before the deadline.
