Support for Faculty and Staff
To promote the mental well-being of students and medical trainees at AKU, the CSW Team assists members of the AKU faculty and staff that engage with students through:
- Consultations to discuss their concerns regarding their student or trainee with a mental health professional
- An opportunity to refer students who might benefit from counselling.
- Capacity building through informational resources and workshops to support students in distress.
If you have concerns about your student or trainee's well-being or mental health, please read the Referral Guide for Faculty and Staff to Help Students in Distress to identify and help those that may need emotional or mental health support.
