Appointment Information
Book an appointment with the Student Psychiatrist through either:
- Referral from Student Health Physician
- Referral from the Student Counsellor from the Counselling Services and Wellness office
- Direct email to the Student Psychiatrist.

At this time, psychiatric treatment is also being provided remotely by the Student Psychiatrist.
Please understand that most appointments must be scheduled well in advance to determine a time that works well for you and the doctor.
Confidentiality Statement
Any information that you disclose during your psychiatric consultation is confidential and if required may only be shared with other healthcare professionals as part of medical care. In rare instances, family members need to be involved in your assessment. If that is the case, the psychiatrist will discuss this with you first.
If leave of absence has been taken on mental health grounds, you would be required to get a certificate of fitness from the psychiatrist before you resume academic work.
Under special circumstances, the psychiatrist may be required by law to share information or a person's medical record with others. Generally, your psychiatrist will tell you first if they need to do this.
