Dr. Ainan Arshad
Associate Director, CCBP
Dr. Ainan Arshad, an Assistant Professor of Medicine, earned his FCPS and MRCP qualifications from the UK. He furthered his academic journey by obtaining a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Aga Khan University. Renowned as an avid researcher and nurturing emerging talent, Dr. Arshad spearheads a mentor-mentee program for FCPS medicine trainees and serves as Secretary for the Karachi Chapter of the Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine. With over 40 research articles published in both national and international peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Arshad's academic interests encompass metabolic disorders, diabetes, and sepsis.

During her career, she played a vital role as a member of the CCBP core team and made significant contributions to the development of GRADE guidelines. Additionally, she gained extensive experience in clinical research, particularly in the realms of cardiovascular disease and stroke research. .
