Office of Allied Health
The Office of Allied Health [OAH], Medical College was conceptualized in 2021 with a vision to facilitate accreditation of all Allied Health programmes, align them to the university standards, and raise the profile of allied health professionals. There are currently 22 allied health programmes in AKU under 12 different departments. The office aims to raise the portfolio of allied health professionals, develop an inclusive career trajectory, and recognize their roles in advancing the vision of academic medical centers. The OAH will also be responsible for developing standard operating procedures and mechanisms to streamline existing portfolios and align them with the broader vision of the university.
