Introduction

Dr. Sattar is an AKU medical graduate who proceeded to USA for residency in surgery followed by a highly rated Breast surgery fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical school of Brown University, USA. After spending years in America, Dr. Sattar returned to Pakistan and joined AKU as an Assistant Professor in Breast Surgery. She was later promoted to Associate Professor. She has been serving as the Section Head, Breast surgery since 2018 and has also been appointed as the Director of the Breast Surgery Program, in which capacity she focuses on enhancing quality multidisciplinary care, research, education and on improving patient experience at the Aga Khan University Hospital.
