I am very proud to lead our newly established department that offers a highly enabling environment for outstanding patient care, teaching, research, and leadership development.
Our hub for clinical activity is the Stadium Road campus. We also serve patients at Clifton Medical Center and the following secondary hospitals: Karimabad, Garden and Hyderabad
I am very appreciative of the high level of commitment that our excellent clinical faculty and team members provide in supporting our teaching, learning and research programmes.
We have strong commitment to undergraduate and residency education. We welcome graduate students and next year we will launch a vitreoretinal fellowship programme.
We offer a highly collaborative environment for translational vision research that builds on inter-departmental strengths in molecular genetics of inherited retinal diseases, ocular oncology, retinopathy of prematurity, and early detection of childhood vision problems.
We are recruiting highly talented individuals in order to continue strengthening our department.
My gratitude, respect and admiration for all team members and our valued supporters.
