Education
CPS is committed to providing guidance and education to healthcare professionals, with a special focus on nurturing the next generation of healthcare leaders. Our mission is to empower these aspiring individuals in the field of patient safety, enabling them to enhance their expertise, professionalism, and careers.
We started our academic journey in 2021 by introducing a five-day course on quality and patient safety was introduced for 3rd year MBBS students to cultivate an understanding of medical errors, equipping students to provide safer care by proactively preventing and mitigating risks, medical errors, and healthcare-associated complications. Recognizing its importance and the positive response received by the students, the course was also introduced it to 2nd year nursing students and interns.
In 2024, we further extended it to Master’s program students including those in
HPM, EPI Bio, and MPH. 40 students attended the inaugural sessions.
The Centre has also trained healthcare professionals from other educational institutions across Pakistan in collaboration with private and public sector hospitals in the country.
